Virtual Shopping

Summary

FRT is being used by retailers and service providers to facilitate "virtual try-on" applications that let customers see how products or styles would look on them without having to physically touch them. This technology uses a customer's camera (or instore camera) to apply virtual makeup, hairstyles, glasses or other products to the image in real-time. This allows customers to see how a product or style would look on them and make a more informed purchasing decision. Virtual reality headsets can be used to give the customer a more immersive experience.
